cowgirl birthday party re-cap!

Cowgirl birthday party ideas at eatprayreadlove.com!

This past weekend we celebrated the sixth birthday of our older daughter. It was a fun weekend with lots of family and friends! Allie keeps us laughing. She really is a fun kiddo. She sings and dances around the house most days, and loves to play with her siblings. (And fight with them, too!)

Her actual birthday:

1.) She went ice skating with Ben. Yes, there is ice skating in Houston. Outside. Makes sense, right?
2.) We started the day with ice cream for breakfast. (for the kids anyway!) I think it’s our new tradition!
3.) Allie with her baby brother Canaan.
4.) Allie & her piñata. Pictures with her piñata are also becoming a tradition! (PS this piñata was only about $6 using a 40% off coupon at Hobby Lobby! Great deal.)
5.) Me and the girls.

Birthday party day!

1.) Allie with her cake.

2.) Riding the hobby horse, AKA “Clippity Clop” was an activity for the kids.

3.) They also raced using a stick horse.

4.) The birthday girl with mom and dad.

5.) Colorful bandanas from Hobby Lobby. (they have TONS of choices!)

6.) Blowing out the candles.

Cowgirl birthday party ideas:

Using Ben’s boots to create the centerpiece. He was forced to wear Crocs since his boots were used for other purposes. 🙂
