a (big) lesson learned from my 4-year old

Congrats Maureen Giardin! She won my birthday giveaway and her goodies are on the way!
I wrote this almost 6 years ago- this 4 year old is now 10 and I have a 4 year old that we didn’t know we we would have back then! But I love, love this lesson that she taught me by simply jumping off the diving board!
Jumping into the unknown can be scary.

We may take a step back, in fear.

 Carefully weigh the costs

Taking the first step is the scariest
But we have to take the plunge

If we know it is something God has called us to.
When we finally do take the plunge,
we find the experience-whatever it is- can be refreshing, and new
And we always find ourselves secure in our Father’s arms.

What is God calling you to do that you’re scared to do?

  2. Thanks Amanda! I didn’t have this post in mind while I was taking the pictures, it just kinda came to me while I was looking through them. Glad you loved it! 🙂

  3. Wow Kello, What a great blog. Can’t really go into any details at the moment, but kinda feeling like I’m on the edge of the diving board, gripping the board with my toes, trying to hang on. Big decisions are in the works, and not really sure I am liking the direction God is pointing to. Love and Miss Ya,
    Ms. Pauline
