A New Face in the Family

As most of you know, we moved a few months ago to our new farmhouse. It has been an amazing experience and we honestly have loved the house downsize. (and land upsize!) The only bad thing is that our sweet cat Livvy has gone missing since we moved to our new house. We’re hopeful that she’ll turn back up but our girls have been begging for a kitten for a while and this week I finally caved. There’s always room for two cats, right?

I’m a sucker for kittens anyway and who could resist this face- even if she looks a little ferocious right here!

Look at the adorable little M on her forehead! We haven’t decided on a name for sure but the name will definitely start with an M. We’re thinking Mittens but are open to suggestions.

We haven’t had an indoors-only cat in a while so I haven’t had to buy kitty litter in ages. My goodness has it changed- for the better. The other day at Target I picked up the brand new Fresh Step® with the Power of Febreze™. One of my husband’s stipulations for having an indoor cat as that he couldn’t smell the litter box- ever! The girls have had fun playing with this little one the last few days- who am I kidding, we all have! She spent her first night in our bedroom because she’d never been away from her mom and siblings and I couldn’t stand for her to be alone!

The girls are smitten with this little kitten- okay, how can we NOT name it Mittens? Too much rhyming goodness!
