Chicken and Bacon Pizza with fresh basil and balsamic drizzle

These are the ingredients you'll need for one pizza- but you should probably make 2. ;)
Ingredients
  • One 16-inch pizza crust
  • 6 slices Wright brand bacon, chopped
  • 6 Tyson lightly breaded chicken strips
  • one 12 oz can diced tomatoes with basil, oregano and garlic
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • 8 oz mozzarella, cubed
  • handful of fresh basil, chopped (8-10 large leaves)
  • balsamic drizzle:
  • 1 tsp. balsamic vinegar
  • 2 Tbs. mayonaisse
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Cook chicken strips for 15 minutes, flipping over at the halfway mark.
  3. Pre-cook the pizza crust according to package directions if necessary.
  4. While the chicken is cooking, cook bacon on the stove. It doesn't have to get perfectly crisp because it will finish cooking in the oven. Drain bacon on a paper towel.
  5. Also while chicken is cooking, mix mayonnaise and balsamic vinegar in a squeeze bottle to create the drizzle sauce.
  6. Spread tomatoes evenly over the crust. Sprinkle with salt.
  7. Add bacon to crust; spread evenly.
  8. Cut chicken into small chunks and add to pizza.
  9. Add cheese evenly to pizza.
  10. Bake at 400 for 8-10 minutes, until cheese is melted and crust is beginning to turn golden brown.
  11. Sprinkle with chopped basil.
  12. Drizzle lightly with balsamic sauce.
