Help Me Go to Ecuador! with #compassioninternational

**You can now browse in my Etsy shop for these prints!**

So, last July we were sitting around a dinner table with some friends of ours who are also church planters here in Houston. They mentioned a trip that their church would be taking in March of 2014 with Compassion International to Ecuador. Although our child we sponsor through Compassion lives in El Salvador, travelling to see Compassion’s work gets me very excited! Immediately, I knew that I wanted to go. And it seemed soooo far away at the time! Well now, it’s less than 39 days away (eek!) and I need to get on the ball fundraising, to say the least!

I know that lots of people have a heart for missions but it isn’t the time for them to travel right now. That has certainly been the case for me the last several years, as I’ve been pregnant and/or nursing more often than not! Helping support others on their trips is an amazing way you can be involved in missions!

I wanted to do something a little more unique than the typical fundraising letter. So I’m creating prints with Scripture and other quotes that I will be selling. (Of course, if you want to donate directly, that’s cool, too! Just let me know and I’ll let you know how to do this.)

If you’re local, I’d love to deliver them to you and say hi! (I’ll also be bringing some prints to church the next few Sundays if you attend with us!) If not, I can certainly ship them to you.

8×10 prints are $12, including shipping and 5×7 prints are $9 including shipping. They will be printed on photo paper.

If you have a special scripture that you want customized with certain colors, I can do that for $20. This will include an 8×10 print.

Here are some of the designs I have created for you!

I really appreciate any thing you can give! Let me know by emailing me which prints you would like. I’ll send you a PayPal invoice, and as soon as you’ve paid, I’ll get them in the mail to you! If you aren’t able to give right now, I covet your prayers.

Also, during this time, any income that comes from my blog (Amazon affiliate sales, Google Ads, LivingSocial sales) will go towards my goal. If scripture prints aren’t your thing, I created a post with Valentine’s Gift ideas and all the ideas include my affiliate links. Each little big adds up!

I have about $2000 to raise! Let’s do this! I’m so appreciative of the little community here!
