Houston Restaurant Week 2011

I can’t believe that I haven’t mentioned this yet- and it will unfortunately only help out my Houston readers.
But if you haven’t heard of Houston Restaurant Week– now is the time to explore! It is a good deal if you want to try out a fancy restaurant- and the “week” now actually encompasses the entire month of August. (yay!)

The two-course lunches are $20 per person and three-course dinners are $35 per person. The best part?
The restaurants donate a portion of each meal’s proceeds to the Houston Food Bank. If you like eating out and trying new restaurants, it’s a win/win.

(In my opinion, I would pick the restaurant that is normally the most expensive since the meals are all priced the same this month. Also note that most restaurants participating require a reservation.)

Happy eating!

  1. Wow this is cool! We made a day trip to the Houston area yesterday – next time I’ll have to check this out and plan our meals before we go!

  2. Great! What did you guys do over here this weekend?
