Shopping the clearance racks- from home!

clearance racks from home

The other day I mentioned on my Facebook page that my cousin (who’s the same size as me) was shopping the clearance racks at an outlet mall and texting me pictures to see if I wanted anything. We texted back and forth for an hour or so, and then for another or so the next day when she went to yet another outlet mall.

I ended up with 2 LOFT skirts and 2 pairs of Ann Taylor shorts for the grand total of $25. Considering the regular price on one pair of these was $44.99, I think that was good haul!

I’ve been eyeing Printed Palette shirts for several months now. Last week, I was able to finally score a lovely shirt through an Instagram sale- for $14. I love it- it’s so soft and comfy yet looks cute. Another cute wardrobe piece from the comfort of my own home- and without having to haul 4 kids into a store!

This was before a double date with some of our best friends. I love how this pic turned out- not bad for a camera set with a timer on a brick column!

With our friends at one of our favorite restaurants. We’re so thankful for these people in our lives! Within a few weeks they’ll be having their first baby- I.cannot.wait!

So do you enjoy shopping from the comfort of home? Have you ever let someone else shop for you?

  2. My motto is – if it isn’t on sale, marked down or thrifted – don’t buy it! I like what you purchased and the amount you saved! Hopped over from WIWW.

    • Thanks Antionette! I agree- I pretty much never buy anything for full price. 🙂
      Thanks for stopping by!

  3. I love outlet malls. Not only do they have such great priced items, but good grief they have some darn cute clothes. I love this outfit & that shirt. Thanks for linking up to Thrifty Thursday. 🙂
