Your Favorites- 2014 Edition

It seems surreal to be writing that today is the last.day.of.2014. It seems seriously like it was just yesterday I was typing last year’s recap post and wrapping up 2013- which was a very hard year for our family.

I won’t keep you long, just wanted to share a small recap of a few of my reader’s favorite posts of the year in case you missed one, or are new to the site! (if so, welcome!)

An honorable mention goes to The Laundry Tips that Changed My Life- I’ve tweaked my system a little even since writing this post, but most of the bones are the same. Tip #4 is by far my favorite.

5.) Coming in at fifth was a post called The Ultimate Free Printable Roundup. I included beautiful printables from several sites- you should check it out if you’re looking for free art for your home or for gifts! (PS if you subscribe by e-mail to this blog, you’ll automatically get 3 free scripture printables!)

The ultimate roundup of free printables!

4.) Also popular was my post on How to Get Free Bath and Body Works Products. This is one of my favorite posts as well since I love sharing tips on how to get nice items- for free! Click here to read more!

3.) In a Pinch Crockpot Meals– a free printable I created years ago- came in at #3. This was due in no small part to my friend Jamie from totallythebomb.com linking to it from her site. Thanks Jamie! The premise of the post is to print out the recipes, keep them on your fridge, and you’ve got 3 handy (EASY!) recipes in front of you when time gets away from you.

2.) How I Finally Started Making Money Blogging came in at #2. Turns out people like to learn how to make money! 😉 In all seriousness, I’ve really been blessed this year to contribute financially to our (large!) family through something I love doing.

If you’re a blogger and looking to begin making money- this post is for you! (Read part 2 here as well.)

1.) And this year’s most popular post (by a long shot!) is….

9 Things Adults Need to get rid of to Become Better People. I wrote this post in response to Kristen Welch’s post for kids and it was shared on a major Facebook page (Thanks QuirkyMomma!) and garnered almost 30,000 hits in just one day. Obviously not everyone agreed with my points- that’s putting it mildly!- but I’m very thankful that my top post is on a topic that is close to my heart. It’s one I have to re-read myself from time to time.

And that’s it! I really can’t thank you, my readers, enough. You truly are the reason I keep this little blog running!
