Feliz cumpleanos!

First of all, congrats Michelle for winning the Lilla Rose giveaway!
I hope you enjoy your Flexi as much as I enjoy mine!
Wow, November is already more than half-way over! It has turned out to be quite the birthday month for our family- hubby and one of our nieces on the 6th, Evaleigh on the 12th, and the new baby on the 20th! Here’s a little peek at what we’ve done to celebrate so far:
A few days before Ben’s birthday, we got to go on an overnight trip a-l-o-n-e thanks to our friend Kelsey who kept all three of our kids! We ate dinner at T-Bone Tom’s in Kemah. Not a fancy place but oh-so-good. It was actually featured on Guy Fieri’s Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, one of our favorite Food Network shows. The rib-eye was one of the best we’ve ever had, and it was so huge we were able to share!
After dinner we got to ride in this horse-drawn buggy, which very much reminded me of Cinderella. It was perfect weather for such an activity- and we also enjoyed Starbuck’s thanks to a giftcard.
The next morning we walked around at the Kemah Boardwalk. We also had lunch at one of the restaurants but it was very unimpressive after our meal at T-Bone Tom’s!
That afternoon we all spent 2 hours at the doctor’s office for my regular weekly check-up- that was fun! 😉 Then we headed to dinner at Roadhouse for our celebration with the family. (And no, we don’t normally eat out this much!) Roadhouse has kids-eat-free on Monday nights which saves almost $15! Thanks, RH!
Birthday boy with his Bloomin’ Onion- which was also free since it was his birthday!
After dinner we had 2 couples over for dessert- simple is the theme this month!
The next weekend we headed to the park to give Evaleigh her birthday present. I gave myself permission to not have a party this year- ya know, with having a baby so soon and all. I think it is the first time of any of the three kids we haven’t had one. (enter mommy guilt!)
The 4-wheeler was Evaleigh’s gift. I happened to be in the right Wal-Mart at the right time (which is almost never- I pretty much despise WM) and was able to get it for $25!
Queen of the road!
I love this one- it looks like she’s zooming!

This one is on her actual birthday. I took her to another park for some one-on-one time. I don’t envision too much of that in our future when #4 gets here next week!

Silly girl!

We took her to get frozen yogurt that night. She was actually feeling pretty bad by that evening, and we ended up at the doctor on Wednesday morning. It was supposed to be her “well check”, but it turned into an “ear infection and wheezing in the lungs check.” Thank goodness she is much better now!
(Oh, not only are we having a baby next week, am I bridesmaid in a wedding this weekend and hubby is officiating! Lots of exciting stuff going on!)

So that wraps up the birthday celebrations for now.
