Guest Post- Jamie from "Snow in December"

Hi lovely people, today Jamie from Snow in December and I are doing a little switching- she wrote a post for me and I for her. Jamie has a really fun blog and I hope you’ll check it out!

Kelli and I are swapping blogs today. What fun! There is one thing I LOVE MOST about blogging and that is getting the opportunity to “meet” fun ladies from all over the world.

I blog at Snow in December. Formerly Snow in July…and before that, The Easily Amused Mommy. The blog has gone through quite a number of changes since I started it 5 months ago, but soon (this week I hope!) she is getting a new look, courtesy of Donda for Just My Type Designs. And my new name, Snow in December, is here for good, I promise.

Snow in December chronicles the life of my three silly kids, my adventures as a wife and a friend, but most importantly, my FAITH in Jesus Christ.  He has seen me through some rough times, and I figure the least I can do is give Him a shout out whenever possible.

One of my passions is to share God’s work in me, in hope and faith that He will take my heaps of rubble and make them beautiful. Next in line is my desire to see families strengthened through play and quality time.  I also blog a bunch about my friends and our crazy adventures – they mean the world to me.

I hope you’ll stop by and be encouraged.

Thanks so much Jamie!
Here is an excerpt of my post on her blog today:

“God has been doing a work in me lately- specifically concerning the different ways we live out our faith. I have always been in church, been saved since I was eight, and I am married to a preacher man. But I have really been thinking lately about what it means to make an eternal impact in this world. Saying the name “Christian” doesn’t mean anything if I am not living how his word commands.”
