When our first daughter was a baby, my sister bought her an adorable bathing suit from Dollar Tree. That daughter is now 4, and our new baby is now benefitting from the same one dollar bathing suit! {also, I bought Daughter 1 a bathing suit from Wal-Mart for about $7 at the same time, and the $1 suit has actually held up a bit better!}
I know there are dozens upon dozens of stores that carry hundreds of very cute bathing suits for babies {girls especially}, but it is hard to justify spending a lot on a suit that she will only wear for one summer. So if you have a baby daughter {or need a super-cute, super-inexpensive baby shower gift}, I highly recommend this purchase.
Also, I found this idea on another blog to embellish the suits if they are too plain for your taste.
Now, if they would only sell women’s bathing suits for $1, we’d be set!
