This Just in: Raising Kids is H.A.R.D.! {31 Days of all things Children Day 10}

I am writing this at the end of the day when I am tired, tired, tired. Like “I want to go to bed at 7:30” kind of tired. {I am sure being 32 weeks pregnant has nothing to do with that!} It’s been on my heart lately all of the things we as parents are responsible for in raising our children. And it’s a bit overwhelming.
Here’s a partial list of what we are responsible for teaching them:
 the Bible
personal hygiene
how to dress themselves
how to make good food choices
how to exercise
how to be respectful
how to be responsible in school work
(and for me, since we are homeschooling, teaching them school as well)
how to manage time
how to treat the opposite sex
how to help out with chores around the house
how to choose good friends…
The list goes on and on. Choosing to have children is not a decision to take lightly!
I am so honored that we have been given 4 precious gifts to raise and love, and I want to do my best in leading them.
I would love your perspective on how to prioritize the time spent investing in our children’s lives.
