How to Never Run Out of Toilet Paper Again! (And save money doing it!)

One of the worst things in the world is running out of toilet paper when um, it’s too late to go find some, right? Once I was at a store with my cousin and had to use the restroom and realized there was NONE to be found, so I actually called her from inside the restroom to go ask the manager to find some! (The crazy thing is, it was a store specifically for women, with all women employees. Surely I wasn’t the first to notice!)

With 6 people in our family (1/2 female, 1/2 male), we go through at least a roll a day and toilet paper was on my store list a lot. I bought it at club stores sometimes, but then that would take up a huge portion of the cart space that could have held my groceries.

Toilet Paper.

Then there were the times I ran in the store “just to get toilet paper” and came out with $40 of stuff I didn’t know I needed!

Anyway, I have figured out- at least at home- the way for our family to never run out of toilet paper again! Is it magic? Almost. Magic called Amazon Subscribe and Save, which keeps toilet paper coming automatically to our house on a monthly basis!

When our youngest was still in full-time diapers, we used Subscribe and Save  (S&S) for our diapers as well. If you’re a member of Prime (which I highly recommend and you can read more about that here) you automatically become a member of Amazon Family (previously known as Amazon Mom).

The savings structure for S&S can get a bit confusing, but I’ll try to explain it here:

Amazon offers a 5% discount on all subscribed items. The savings increase if you have 5 or more Subscribe & Save items delivered in the same month.  You save an additional 10% making your discount 15% off instead. BUT, if you are a prime member, you get 20% off diaper orders, which is HUGE!

You pick how often you need items to arrive. I do toilet paper on a monthly basis, but you can do every other month, every three months, or whenever you need. You can also cancel a month of an item if you don’t need it.

You’ll get free shipping on S&S items, even if you’re not a Prime Member.

I hope that is clear- if not, feel free to leave a comment and I’ll do my best to answer!

It’s so nice knowing that toilet paper is on its way each month- one less thing I have to worry about. Hopefully, you’ll never run out of toilet paper again either!

(please note that Amazon’s terms can change at any time- at the time of this post being published, it is an accurate representation of Subscribe and Save and Prime)

  1. I’ve been contemplating signing up for this as well as prime. I think I might just have to bite the bullet.
