A few of my favorite things…

It’s hard to believe it’s the last Friday in September already! It does seem that we may be able to wear our fall clothes this weekend in Houston- yay!
I’m a little bummed because we are supposed to be in San Antonio this weekend visiting my cousin and brother, but my two little girls are sick. Say a little prayer for them, will ya?

I haven’t had much blog-persuing time this week, {see above}, but I did find some great stuff!
Here are a few of my favorite things this week-
Using glitter to revitalize an old pair of flats. Sewwoodsy came up with this tutorial- it is such a great idea and I do love me some glitter!

How about candy corn as an inexpensive decoration? Itsy Bitsy Paper shows a fun way to use this delish fall treat to make your home pretty!

This isn’t a new post, but my friend Abbie’s daughter’s nursery. It. is. beautiful. And thrifty. Great combo, in my opinion! Check it out
{also, her babe is only a few days younger than my baby E, and completely adorable as well!}
And lastly this week, although it’s my own post, I wanted to share again about my hubby in case you missed it Wednesday:
Happy weekend!

  1. Thanks for featuring my flats!

  2. This is a great list. I hope the girls feel better soon. It is no fun when kids are feeling bad. Thank you for the feature. I am glad the candy corn vases were a hit.

  3. Stopped by from the blog hop and now following your blog thru GFC and Facebook . I would love a follow back when you get the chance. Also, I am having my first giveaway, a set of Eclipse Spa Products and you are welcome to come and enter. Thanks so much for your help and have a great day!
