Affiliate Programs for Non-Bloggers Part 1

I’m super excited about today’s post- it’s all about affiliate programs for non-bloggers! Most of us probably know that bloggers make money by using affiliate programs such as Amazon and Target. It’s how I make a good portion of my income each month.

affiliate programs for non-bloggers

(this post is full of my affiliate links! Thank you for supporting!)

But! Did you know that there are EXCELLENT affiliate programs for non-bloggers*? This means you can make money or earn free products just by telling your friends about them!  You can do this by posting your affiliate links on Facebook, twitter, or even in your email signature. Think about everything you post about companies that you’re already using- why not make a little money while doing it? (Just be sure this isn’t ALL you’re talking about 😉 )

I’ve rounded up a few ideas of affiliate programs for non-bloggers and would love to hear of more in the comments if you know of any!

Capital One Bank

Obviously, you have to be a Capital One customer yourself to do this, but at $20 a pop (up to $1000!) it’s a great affiliate program. You can open up an account completely online (do that here) and if you already have a checking account, use this one for savings. If you already have a general savings account, you could use this one for something specific (saving for a car, vacation, etc.)

Grove Collaborative (formerly ePantry)

I’m super new to Grove (it JUST changed from ePantry last week) but already I’m a huge fan of their system! You sign up for a subscription for cleaning products, toiletries, personal items, and more. Then you get a shipment each month based on what you need (you can always cancel/delay deliveries). Sign up here and you’ll also get a $10 credit PLUS a free Mrs Meyer’s Clean Day hand soap! (Love that stuff!) When a non-blogger shares about Grove, you’ll get $10 credit plus the person you refer also gets $10!

eBates

This is probably my favorite affiliate program so far. It works the same for bloggers and non-bloggers- you get cash (not credit) for this program for referring other customers and it can add up quickly! eBates works like this: You go directly to eBates.com when you’re shopping online. Type in the store you need in the search bar (ie Target). eBates will bring up a tab for Target where you’ll do your shopping as normal, BUT you’ll receive a percentage (usually 2-6% but sometimes as high as 12%!) of your total in cash in your eBates account! You then get a check each quarter. It’s a GREAT deal if you shop online already! (I’ve also found that oftentimes, online prices are already less than in-store prices!) Sign up for eBates here.

Dollar Shave Club

I just ordered my first razor from DSC- for $3 a month I’ll get 5 blades- which is enough to share with hubby! (Anyone else think the price of razors is cuh-razy?) Dollar Shave Club has 3 different plans, depending on how fancy you fancy your razors. For every friend you refer with your own affiliate link, you’ll get $5 in credit! Click here to join DSC and get started referring!

Be sure to look for Part 2, coming next week!

*Of course, the more channels of influence (ie a blog) you have, it’s more likely you’ll make more money. But you can definitely make money using other channels as well!

Comments

  1. Thank you for this great information. I love ebates but I am not familiar with Grove. I will look at it now. I found your blog on Create If.

  2. What a cool idea for a blog post!
