The driveway to the cabin where we stayed.
Oh, did I mention that there was a boy at the women's retreat? ;)
Everyone kept calling Canaan the "best baby" - he really was SUPER good.
His first airplane flight went great also.
On a walk. The non-Coloradoans lasted about 15 minutes! ;)
1.) A lotion bar from Amish country, donated by my friend Sarah. This stuff rocks! I'll definitely be ordering more- it really kept my skin from drying out in the mountains.
2.) Lip balm, donated by the Gnarly Whale. (love this stuff!)
3.) Hair ties by Elle Dee Design. These things are great- and double as a fun bracelet when you're not wearing them in your hair!
4.) Craft tags by Pick Your Plum.
5.) Fun little gift card holders by Joy with Whisker Graphics.
6.) Greeting cards from Red Letter Paper Co. I reviewed some Stephanie's Christmas cards here in November- they are really beautiful and high quality!
7.) Not handmade, but I had to bring some of our favorite coffee- HEB's Cafe Ole. This one is the San Antonio blend.
8.) Skin care samples from Cathi Almquist's Bioceutica.
9.) It's Just a Little Gossip by my friends Rebecca and Sarah at sheshares.org. I also reviewed this book here- it's an excellent tale of how gossip *almost* permanently ruined a friendship.
10.) And finally, Sara Horn's book My So Called Life as a Proverbs 31 Wife. I can't wait to read it!

Kelli, It was so wonderful to get to know you and I look forward to a growing new friendship!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a wonderful time! I'll take our Waco weather over snow any day, though!! I could use a refreshing right now, though, as a pastor's wife!! A day of scrapbooking with my bestie, sharing some chinese food, and just being silly together just might do it!
ReplyDeleteThe snow makes me cold just looking at it! I'm a true southerner :)

ReplyDeleteMy mind could use refreshing right now. Its been over-loaded and multitasking for far too long. My favorite way to refresh it? Time with Jesus, reading His word and just thinking and praying. Also a good amount of watching the Golden Girls and possibly a mini road trip :)
Thanks Lani! Looking forward to hanging out this summer! Xoxo
ReplyDeleteI am a pastor's wife too- I hope you get refreshing too! I am a Texas gal as well and don't think I could live in the snow, but have loved visiting! Xxoxo
ReplyDeleteNicole, I hope you get some refreshing soon! Your ideas sound awesome. :)
